EB-1A Extraordinary Ability
U.S. Permanent Residency for Individuals of Extraordinary Ability
The EB-1A Employment-Based First Preference green card is reserved for foreign nationals who can demonstrate extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics. This highly prestigious immigration pathway represents the pinnacle of professional distinction, requiring proof of sustained national or international acclaim.
One of the most powerful advantages of the EB-1A visa is that it does not require a specific U.S. employer sponsor or a labor certification. Qualified individuals may self-petition (filing Form I-140 on their own behalf), giving them absolute professional freedom and mobility to continue their endeavors in the United States.
Regulatory Criteria for EB-1A Qualification
